Leadership Team
LinkAmerica’s greatest strength is the depth, breadth and experience of its leadership team. Below are those who
lead the charge to ensure ‘Best In Class’ service and solutions. This team is passionate about sustaining a service
culture, utilizing technology to provide real-time data to our customers, and for understanding the challenges
facing our customers so LinkAmerica can provide appropriate transportation solutions.
Roger B. Collins is the Chairman and CEO. He graduated cum laude from Princeton University and
subsequently obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business. In 1987, Mr.
Collins brought a team together backed by a group of venture funds to purchase Dalworth Trucking Company, a
Texas dry van carrier. He has subsequently backed management teams in six additional transportation companies
and provided consulting services to others.
Todd A. Smith is the President. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in
Transportation and Logistics. Mr. Smith has 25 years of experience in the transportation industry. His portfolio
consists of strategic leadership positions within industry leading companies. Mr. Smith joined the LinkAmerica
team in 1998 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He was promoted to President of LinkAmerica
Corporation in the spring of 2007. Mr. Smith is the visionary leader responsible for the business model that has
catapulted LinkAmerica into the ranks of the industries elite carriers.
Anthony D. Allen is the Chief Financial Officer. He graduated from Yale University in 1975. From
1975 until 1985, Mr. Allen held commercial lending positions at two prominent Tulsa banks. After joining Mr.
Collins in 1987, Mr. Allen has held the position of chief financial officer for each of Mr. Collins’ transportation
companies which formed the initial platform for LinkAmerica.
Carl Bailey is Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. Carl began his career in
transportation 19 years ago and has experience in managing regional and national accounts as well as dedicated
transportation services. He was previously the General Manager of Dedicated Services for a transportation
solutions company. Carl joined LinkAmerica in April 2008. His primary focus at LinkAmerica is revenue
generation and customer service. Under Carl’s leadership, Sales, Pricing, Engineering, Inside Sales, Logistics
and Customer Service provide excellent customer service and revenue growth.
Aaron Yeager is the Executive Vice-President of Operations. He is a graduate of Iowa State
University’s Agricultural Systems Technology and Agribusiness Management program. After two years in the role
of Territory Service Manager and Technical Training Instructor with a leading agricultural equipment company,
Aaron was recruited to LinkAmerica where he has held numerous positions in operations and maintenance.
Aaron led our Maintenance Division to achieving operational efficiencies that exceed industry standards. His
ability to assess, plan and execute a successful strategy positions LinkAmerica in an elite group of carriers
capable of operationally supporting a company that ‘Dominates the markets by providing exceptional service to
our customers’.
